YPNG and Surfrider Foundation invite you to happy hour and a beach cleanup at Avila Beach! Meet us at Blue Moon anytime between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM for drinks and good vibes. The official beach cleanup kicks off at 4:30 PM sharp—so make sure you're there by then!

Come chill for a bit, meet awesome like-minded people, and do your part to help keep our precious beaches nice and clean. Every little bit counts—even a tiny piece of trash that a poor fishie might eat!
All adults welcome · Cleanup supplies provided · Free to attend

Please fill out the Surfrider Foundation waiver—it's required, but super quick and easy!
HOW IT WORKS
3:00 PM – Arrive at Blue Moon for happy hour. Trickle in at your own pace—it's Sunday, we get it.
4:30 PM – Beach cleanup starts sharp! We split into groups of 2–3 and head separate ways to comb the beach.
Regroup, weigh the haul, and crown a winner!
WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
• Generic trash, big & small
• Stray beach toys
• Stray towels, socks, shoes
• Anything obviously left behind
GEAR PROVIDED:
• Buckets (trash)
• Bags (recycling & stray items)
• Grabber/picker thingies
• Rubber gloves
SPECIAL PRIZE
The group that collects the most trash wins a prize! Measured by weight & volume—and no cheating, sand doesn't count!
