Many of you donated items at the December YPNG mixer for the Prado Day Center. Please see the message below from the Homeless Services Division of Community Action Partnership of SLO County, Inc. (CAPSLO, formerly Economic Opportunity Commission).
Many of you have donated items and/or gift cards to Prado Day Center or Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter. On behalf of everyone in the
Homeless Services Division I want to thank you for your generosity. It is during the Holidays that the need is so keenly
felt – your thoughtfulness is appreciated.
For non-monetary gifts the programs do not normally issue a donation letter and instead provide the donor with an in-kind
acknowledgement at the time the donation is dropped off. If you would like a donation letter acknowledging your gift for
tax purposes please notify Dee Torres, the Homeless Services Director, at
